Access to water and sanitation is a basic human right. Yet, today, there are still billions of people who have no access to either one. WaterAid Australia has partnered up with Interflow, a company with more than 80 years of experience in the water industry. The aim is to provide essential water services to vulnerable communities, particularly in the current times, where access to water and sanitation have proven to be essential measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19.WaterAid's volunteers have played a vital role in supporting communities during the global pandemic. Their work has contributed to improving and providing training, national communications, and materials regarding water and sanitation. It is through this type of work that communities can be protected from current and future health risks, as well as promoting development and general well-being.WaterAid's believes it is crucial to work together, as unity will drive a positive change and action, aiding their mission to provide essential water and sanitation services to those in need.
