The challenge for rural schools in Thailand

Zuzanna Quality Education

According to the World Bank, “Despite Thailand’s success in expanding educational access, new research suggests that much more needs to be done to maximize the potential of its students.” Apparently small rural village schools have seen a growing gap for their disadvantaged and poorer-performing students compared to their urban city counterparts. Watch this short documentary prepared by the World Bank, following the story of 2 schools in Northern Thailand, “uncovering their challenges and potential solutions to address the growing needs of reforms to Thailand’s education system.”
