Since the pandemic broke us, school classes in Bolivia have been suspended. Armed with only his bicycle and whiteboard, Bolivian teacher Wilfredo Negreete three times a week gives classes to students stuck at home under the coronavirus lockdown.
Authorities have recommended virtual online classes during the pandemic, however, many rural families lack adequate access to this. Negrete sets up tables and brings alcohol to sanitize the children’s hands, ensuring their safety. This is a way to ensure equal access to education.
