Stiltz sponsors water projects in Africa

Lift company Stiltz is providing financial support to The Africa Trust, to make potable water available and develop sustainable water solutions to vulnerable, remote communities in Africa.Stiltz financial commitment will help construct wells in Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Nigeria. The trust not only works to provide wells around Africa, but they also provide long-term sustainable solutions to ensure there is a long-term supply of clean water. This includes supplying villages with entire water infrastructure, such as water-pumps, toilet facilities and the necessary supplies to keep these facilities running. These initiatives not only improve access to clean water but also increase the level of sanitation to improve health and well-being.To combat waterborne diseases which affect many villages in the region, the trust provides water filtration systems built from ceramics to clean the water, reducing the risk of contracting a disease. The overall goal is to empower communities, providing them with long-term sustainability and enabling them to take charge of their future.
