A-level results day 2021: what to expect - The Uni Guide

Zuhayra Quality Education

The fear of not succeeding. The uncertainty. The stress building up. It is very hard to be an optimistic person when you are waiting for your results, especially your A levels. They are harder than most exams high school students are giving across the world. The A-levels are significantly harder than GCSEs since they have more difficult exams and complex concepts. A-levels are equivalent in difficulty to many university courses. Therefore, it is understandable to feel this way, my experience was quite a roller-coaster as I have encountered many challenges. One genuine piece of advice that I would give is that self-discipline and motivation go hand in hand, if one did not find these two, it is high time they do to be able to succeed. I wish schools would teach us how to master self-discipline but I guess it is personal work that we have to do. We have all heard of the saying 'Hard work pays off, I was not amongst the students who would believe in this until I started focusing more on myself. And here we are, I am ecstatic about my results and I was overthinking for nothing. Overall, this experience made me a more productive human that is constantly looking for self-improvement.
