How over coaching kills rugby
It is of great debates as to why the Southern hemisphere is better than the Northern hemisphere at rugby, and the answer is overtraining and over coaching. For example, the way the North structure their teams and coaching is far more intense. Teams such as Sale Sharks will show how 8 coaches are involved in the game. There are too much structure and very little intuition. Whereas Crusaders, like the other Nw Zealand rugby teams use their own skills and initiative within a coached framework.Â
