Russian corporation, Rosatamon, has introduced to the South African market mobile water treatment units. These UMKWA units will improve access to water to both rural and urban regions that lack access to water supplies or experience disruptions. Rosatamon is committed to improving access to clean water in the continent, to minimize the spread COVID-19 and waterborne diseases.
The UMKWA water units can treat up to one tone of water per hour, including having the capacity to desalinate water, making it a suitable solution for drought-prone areas. These mobile water treatment units are an example of the many ways in which water can be made accessible globally.
