Lack of clean water and sanitation not only increases the risk of disease, but it hinders women's education, as Water.org found that in rural areas of Ethiopia, women have to walk for three hours a day just to get water.With the global pandemic sweeping across the world, improved access to clean water and sanitation is crucial, as the basic habit of handwashing has become a key preventative measure against COVID-19.
