Welcome to Global Noticeboard! Whether you're looking to connect with people, explore new ideas, find something happening nearby or make a positive difference, there's plenty to discover.

The best way to get started? Follow your curiosity.

Explore Noticeboards connected to places, communities and causes you care about. Read a few Notices and see what catches your attention. You might discover an upcoming Event, helpful Advice, an interesting Discussion or something useful being shared through Give / Receive.

You don't need a big plan or lots of spare time. Sometimes reading, following a community or joining a conversation is all it takes to get started.

Find a Noticeboard that interests you and give it a follow.

- Discover what's happening near you

There's often more happening around us than we realise.

From community Events and local conversations to people sharing useful items or asking for Advice, Global Noticeboard helps you discover opportunities connected to places that matter to you.

Try exploring Notices by location. You might find something interesting in your neighbourhood, a community you'd like to get involved with or an Event worth putting in your calendar.

It's also a chance to discover the people and organisations working to make your local area a better place.

- Helping doesn't always require money

Making a difference doesn't always mean making a donation.

Sometimes it's sharing advice with someone who needs it. Sometimes it's passing on something useful, answering a question or showing up to a community Event.

Global Noticeboard brings these opportunities together through Advice, Discussion, Events and Give / Receive Notices.

Everyone has something different to offer, whether that's knowledge, time, experience or an item they no longer need.

And if you're the person who needs a little help? You're welcome here too.

- Start with a Notice

Have something you'd like to share with your community?

It could be a question you've been meaning to ask, an Event you're organising, a topic you'd like to discuss or something useful you no longer need.

On Global Noticeboard, these become Notices.

Choose the Notice type that best suits what you're sharing: Advice, Discussion, Events or Give / Receive. Add a clear description so people understand what you're looking for or how they can take part.

You never know who might have the answer, be interested in your idea or appreciate what you've shared.
